st. augs

Did a quick shoot for a local church this spring while on another assignment. The images will be used in their new website design.

Love the granite and windows. We found out Kris’s first employer after college donated all the windows. Love that!

prom prettiness

Hello again! I’m going to spend the next few weeks or so getting caught up sharing my recent imagery. 2010 has been filled with fun shoots of all shapes and sizes. It’s wedding and grad season, so life is full!

Prom was a splendid array of color and laughter, and quite a dreamy event for Rachel. Time goes much too quickly, but I’m grateful for each memory.

I’m testing out various image displays so below is both a thumbnail/lightbox viewer and slideshow. Click on thumbnails to open lightbox viewer. To scroll through slideshow click on arrows beneath large image.

Mom continues to tolerate her 3rd round of chemo well, now into her 4th year of battling this disease. Again, I’m thankful.

poppy seeds…

Do poppy seeds come from these pretty poppies? I’ve never thought about it before, but I suppose they do.

Each spring I have the much loved task of shooting Jerome’s poppies in exchange for enjoying his garden produce throughout the year. I think I’m the winner in this deal! OK, I know I am.

You can read about his organic produce and see more of my garden imagery on Alyssa’s delightful blog, eat.to.glow, on simple, healthy eating.

All images shot with my 28-75mm at f/2.8, iso 100, AV mode, cloudy white balance for extra warmth.

taste of st. cloud

Hello! Recently I had the treat of photographing the Taste of St. Cloud charity event for the Franciscan Sisters, featuring some of St. Cloud’s most delicious eats.

I believe it was more of a success than ever anticipated based on the crowds and over-full parking lot at the beautiful Coyote Moon Grille.

babe and big sis

Sometimes, words are not enough to describe the joy I feel capturing the innocence of babes. It’s my hope these images can share a bit into the precious souls of these two little ones. Thank you, Kim and Adam, for letting me spend time with your angels.
